  Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i Pro Pack 

  The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i Pro Pack is one of the highest recommended products for beginning astrophotography and for good reason. As a star tracker, the Star Adventurer 2i tracks the motion of the night sky with the Star Adventurer 2i, you are able to take photographs of the cosmos with much longer exposures than a still tripod before star trailing occurs. Longer exposures allow you to capture faint objects in deep space with much more clarity and resolution. You can use the Star Adventurer 2i with any DSLR or Mirrorless camera and nearly any camera lens! The star tracker mounts to any tripod with a standard 3/8” or ¼" connection, often found underneath the ball or pan head. The Star Adventurer 2i leaves any budding astrophotographer room to grow too, so you can eventually add autoguiding and even use a telephoto lens or small refractor telescope for deep sky imaging.

  iOptron Ball Head 

  To make it even easier to aim your camera, we’ve included a ball head which mounts on top of the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i. It includes a universal quick release plate which mounts to the ¼" port on the bottom of all cameras, and the plate slides and locks in place on the ball head for quick and easy setup.

   

  What You Need to Get Started

  Here is everything you need to get started taking your first images with the Star Tracker Astrophotography Bundle:

  1. Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i Pro Pack (included)
  2. iOptron Ball Head (included)
  3. A tripod with a 3/8” or ¼" thread connection that can support at least 11 lbs (available as an add-on)
  4. 4x AA batteries to power the Star Adventurer 2i (not included)
  5. Your own DSLR or Mirrorless camera & lens (not included)
  6. An intervalometer for your specific camera is recommended (not included)
