• The lightweight and compact Starlight Instruments Electronic Focusing System (EFS) comes with a digital hub (control box) and hand controller and works with any ASCOM compliant software.

  The hand controller has an innovative knob feature that allows you to can change the number of steps the focuser moves from 1 step, 10 step, or 100 step increments. Each step speed has an LED light mode, RED 1 step, Amber 10 step, 100 Green step.

  Motor Required

  The motor for the RedCat51 series of telescopes is sold as a separate items and can also be purchased from OPT. See these following link: RedCat51 Series Focusing System - motor system.

  Additional Information:

  Control box is 4.13-inches (105 mm) long, 2.87-inches (73 mm) wide, and 1.1-inch (28 mm) thick.

  The system draws a maximum 1 amp of power @ 12V and can be controlled by the provided USB cable.

  Motors connect to the EFS control hub via Ethernet cable (red in images, supplied with separate motor purchase).

  Hand controller is connected to the EFS control hub via RJ11 cable (supplied).
