The only thing we've been able to accomplish is to open the box, inspect the contents, and assemble the unit. As we're suffering from some of the worst smoke in ages from all the fires in the area, it may be a week or more before actually being able to use this telescope for its intended purpose!

I’ve had one for 2 years now and have had no problems with it at all ! It’s great for planets, the moon and terrestrial views! It does ok with deep space objects, but let’s be realistic, it’s not the Hubble. It’s easy to set up and align ! It tracks beautiful! The red dot finder works but I did replace it with a TELRAD. The 26mm and 9.5mm lenses that come with it are adequate typical stock lenses but I’ve added a variety of eyepieces, a few Barlows /focal extender and filters, purchases that are pretty much par for the course! It’s easy to take on the go and has had it’s share of bumps and bangs, but has stayed in perfect collimation, which Macs are known for ....that’s cool! The scope would be better served if it had a heavier steel tripod. It’s aluminum tripod, though adequate , feels more like hard plastic and is just too light! That’s about it.....it’s a great go to 1st scope or travel addition for the experienced user!

Don't know, would not power up! Had to send to Meade.
