iOptron's Portable EQ/AZ Astronomy Mount
An impressive 11lb payload carrying capacity, with the option for use in both Alt-Az or Equatorial configuration, makes the iOptron SkyHunter mount perfect for visual observing and outreach as well as long exposure astrophotography with smaller telescopes or camera lenses. A standard 3/8 tripod connection ensures that you have the option to use iOptron’s specially-designed tripod, equatorial mount and extension pier (all included), or to mount it on the standard photographic tripod you already own. Or upgrade to the Radian Carbon Fiber Tripod and save a few pounds of weight when you're on the go. The SkyHunter includes four tracking rates to keep you on target for long-exposure deep sky astrophotography; lunar photography, 1/2 rate landscape astrophotography, and even Solar photography.
iOptron has raised their bar yet again for grab-and-go simplicity and portability in astronomy with the new GoTo SkyHunter Star Tracking Mount.
