I got this scope because of the generally favorable reviews and its portability. I had to wait a long time to get it due to supply problems, but it was worth it. It is a manageable telescope, easily taken apart to move, easy to balance. It is a great scope for the intermediate/beginner astronomer. I like the size and weight. Optics are good enough for me. Alas, it's not the Hubble. But then I couldn't put the Hubble in my living room. I've had an 8 inch reflector, a 6 inch refractor, and a Nexstar 8SE. This is the most useful for me. The CG4 equatorial mount is solid and one of the best features of this scope.
