Hey Stuart! That’s a great question. The star tracker seen around the 5:58 mark is the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Pro, though it is an older version in black. If you’re just mounting the Radian 61 and a DSLR alone, a Star Adventurer Pro will be able to handle that as that payload weighs around 6 lbs in total. However, if you’re planning on using a guide scope and ASIAIR, you may want to consider using a larger mount. The EQ6-R Pro will be an excellent mount to carry all of this equipment, and will leave you plenty of room to upgrade to larger telescopes in the future. Please call us if you have any more questions. Clear skies!

OPT Team,
Will the tracking mount in this video be able to handle a Starfield 60mm guide-scope attached and work with the ASIAir Plus?
(Trying to keep my rig as light, portable and clean as possible but have no issue buying a EQ6-R Pro to be safe, and for larger scopes in the future.)
If it can handle the weight and can work with the ASIAir Plus what tacking mount is it on the carbon tripod?
Cheers!
Dave

Hi can you let me know how to mount the ASIAIR pro to the raptor rings? What bracket is needed? Thanks
