OPT Expands Operations!

OPT, America’s largest retailer of telescopes and astrophotography equipment announced that the company is relocating its current operations from Oceanside, CA to a new larger facility located in Carlsbad, CA.
“We’ve just outgrown our current location,” said CEO Dustin Gibson. “To meet increasing e-commerce demand we need to expand our warehouse and upgrade our shipping capabilities. The new location offers us an additional four shipping bays, which helps deliver on the OPT promise for same-day shipping."
The new single-level facility will provide the company additional space for more inventory and offices, as well as a new dedicated video production studio.
COO Ginny St. Lawrence added, “The new facility also provides us extra capacity to expand our staff, so we can ensure faster service and better customer experience."
Effective September 1, 2018, OPT’s new address will be 2245 Camino Vida Roble, Carlsbad, CA 92011.
