I think I’ll skip it. Not great for astrophotography

My first telescope was the Celestron 8SE. I used it to take 4 minute subs of Whirlpool for 2 hours as my first real try at deep sky.
I was so happy to see whirlpool in my preview. I did not see a guide star in my off axis guider and was scared to move anything so I just took the picture unguided. The photo turned out amazing well as a beginner. Similar to what you see on Astrobin. Too bad I cannot upload it here. I had the telescope mounted on a EQ6R mount.
