This high performance 2.4", 360mm f/6 APO doublet gives a maximum true field of 4.3??? , which makes it superior for both terrestrial and astronomical use. Standard features include a 2-stage 1.25" focuser which accepts in-line porro prism, 45??? erectors, or 60??? and 90??? diagonals... and does it with a quick-focus drawtube and tunes it with a helical fine focus. The apochromatic design coupled with well above standard multi-coatings mean outstanding color correction, while precision internal machining combined with a sliding captive dew shield means no stray light bouncing around to disturb the perfect view.
At only 10" long (254mm) and weighing in at around 3 pounds (1.4 kg), the Televue TV 60 is a portable piece of perfection. I have a 60 mm Coronado etalon with BF10 [pre-Meade]. Is there any way to get an adapter to screw on the front of the TV 60 telescope for solar gazing?
