United StatesThe item I ordered was shipped quickly...right one.
Beware - the thread on this adapter is for tele-vue eyepieces ONLY. The thread is not the same as a standard 2" eyepiece filter. I just bought 2 of these and after about 1 turn, the threads lock up. Seems they are the same OD but slightly different pitches. Will be returning. I'm sure if you have a TV eyepeice it'd be great. But the description could have used more clarification. 3 stars. Product not defective, but description misleading.
United StatesTo bring my video camera to focus on my Dob, I use a shortened set of truss poles. Now with the barrel extender, I can also use my 13mm Ethos. I have the best of 2 worlds-a set up for both video and visual viewing without having to switch truss poles.
This solved the problem of bringing telescope images to focus with my TeleVue 2 inch eyepieces on a refractor.
