    Takahashi FC-100DC F/7.4 Fluorite Refractor

The Takahashi FC-100DC F/7.4 Fluorite Refractor OTA provides outstanding performance for both visual observers and astrophotographers. It has its own dedicated set of reducers and flatteners and also uses some accessories from the TOA series.

The FC-100DC Telescope consists of an apochromatic fluorite Steinheil doublet with a 100 mm objective. The front element uses an eco-glass for maximizing light transmission and a coated fluorite rear element for color correction.

The optical tube has a fixed dew shield and a 2.2-inch rack and pinion focuser.  While a capable imaging instrument, it is designed with the visual observer in mind.

    • Hello. Is it possible to use 2" diagonals and 2" eyepieces, e.g. TV 35 Panoptic on the DC model scope? If so, what adapters are needed? Thank you.

Technically, you can add the FS-60 2" adapter https://www.optcorp.com/takahashi-2-compression-ring-adapter-for-sky-90.html, but with the short back focus you may not be able to focus on every 2" eyepiece. The FC100DF would be a better option as it is alr

    • What tubes and connectors come for visual use? In pic I see the connector that screws onto draw tube, an extension tube, the visual connector, and then the step down to 1.25" and chrome compression ring. Do all those come with the 100DC so all I need is a

That is correct, although when using a 1.25" diagonal you remove the extension tube. That extension tube is for imaging or focusing with an eyepiece straight through.
