Stellarvue R50E Dual Mounting Rings for 50mm - 60mm Finderscopes

If you're looking for a secure mount for your 50-60mm Stellarvue finderscope that attaches directly to one of the telescope's hinged rings, then you're in the right place. This set of 2 11/16" internal diameter rings will work with 50-60mm Stellarvue finder scopes, or any other model which will fit the dimensions. The quick release dovetail base was designed for StellarVue optical tube rings: R80, R102, R4, R5, R6 and R7 - but are also compatible to any set of scope rings that are about 1" wide and has a center hole on top threaded foe either a 6mm or 1/4-20 screw. Simply place your finderscope in the ring assembly, and collimate with the non-marring nylon-tipped stainless steel screws and you're good to go! When the observing evening is over, just use the quick release dovetail mount and the ring assembly will keep your collimation until the next observing session.

    This Meade optical tubes ships in a double layer cardboard box with additional padding. Meade does not include hard cases with their larger scopes at the moment.

  • I have a LXD75 mount. Is this too heavy for it?

    No, this 6" scope should be fine as long as you have at least one 10 lb counterweight for your mount. This OTA is right around 10-11lbs - which is lighter than the much longer SN6 Schmidt-Newtonian.
