Precise fit for my C925 Edge HD. The first night I got better focus than ever before with the stock Celestron focuser knob. The assembly is over 2x as long as the standard one, so rotation of imaging train was no longer 360, but well worth the trade off.
My experience with the OPT staff was the very best as both the sales person and accounts person were very helpful throughout the purchase process and shipped the item very quickly. The issues I had post sales were mainly with UPS shipping - The agents for UPS in New Zealand didn't advise me about how to go about releasing the item from customs and I was unaware of how much I needed to pay and nobody seemed to know anything, leaving it to me to drive the process. Then after several e-mails and phone calls to UPS I was finally given the information required and I paid the fees to have the item released. As a result the delivery of the item was held back for an extra 4 days or more. I consider UPS to be incompetent and OPT would be better using an alternative shipper (I never had any issues with USPS)
Recently purchased this to go along with my C9.25. Celestron should make them standard equipment, the stock one leaves a lot to be desired. Do yourself a favor and pick one up if you have a SCT. You'll thank yourself.
I wish these came stock on the bigger Celestrons. I was a little hesitant to disassemble any part of the OTA (especially something attached to the mirror), but it turned out to be pretty easy. It came with a CD containing explicit install instructions and took an easy 10 minutes with just a small Phillips head screwdriver and a 1/2" crescent wrench. Operation is very smooth, so can't wait to get the Microtouch autofocuser so FocusMax can take care of sharpening the view. Quality product.
