• The PrimaLuceLab GIOTTO 320 Smart Flat Field Generator provides accurate flat field calibrations for your astrophotography setup. The device consists of a series of WiFi-controllable and dimmable LED lights that are mounted behind a special diffuser to allow for a perfectly flat field of light. This even light field creates the ideal view for camera calibration photos.

  PrimaLuceLab made the GIOTTO flat field generator line to give astrophotographers a perfectly uniform, flat color field to ensure accurate camera calibration. Paired with a dark frame, these flat light fields create a base line for telescope camera calibration. 100 brightness levels allow for for custom calibration.

  Adjusting the 100 levels of brightness on your GIOTTO flat field generator is easy with a smartphone via WiFi and an app. Control from your favorite PC app with the use of an ASCOM driver, or use the PLAY app for Windows. Each GIOTTO flat field generator is powered by 12v DC.

  GIOTTO 320 Smart Flat Field Generator

  This flat field generator is for use on telescopes with an aperture of up to 320mm. The PrimaLuceLab GIOTTO 320mm Smart Flat Field Generator is a great choice for 11" to 14" telescopes. Included thumbscrews allow for fast mounting to telescopes with a 287mm to 349mm outer diameter.

  While the GIOTTO 320 may fit over your scope's OTA, you will want to be sure that the illuminated area of the GIOTTO generator will extend past your telescope's optical view. Because of this, if your telescope's external diameter is close to 320mm, you may want to consider upgrading to the GIOTTO 430. The goal is to make sure the diameter of the illuminated field is larger than that of your telescope's OTA.
