  GIOTTO flat field generators were created by PrimaLuceLab to give astrophotographers a perfectly uniform, flat color field. Select from 100 brightness levels for calibration purposes via USB-C or the built-in WiFi.

  Adjusting the GIOTTO flat field generator's brightness is easy with your smartphone or from your PC with the use of an ASCOM driver or the PLAY app for Windows. GIOTTO flat field generators are powered by 12v DC.

  GIOTTO 285 Smart Flat Field Generator

  This flat field generator is suitable for use on telescopes with an aperture of up to 255mm. For example, the PrimaLuceLab GIOTTO 285 mm is a great choice for 10" to 12" telescopes. Thumbscrews allow for fast mounting to optical tubes with a 252mm to 315mm outer diameter.

  While the GIOTTO 285 may fit over your scope's OTA, you will want to be sure that the illuminated area of the GIOTTO generator will extend past your telescope's optical view. Because of this, if your telescope's external diameter is close to 285mm, you may want to consider upgrading to the GIOTTO 320. The idea is to ensure that the diameter of the illuminated field is larger than the diameter of your telescope's optical tube.
