Parallax Instruments Standard Telescope Mounting Rings for 155 mm OD Tubes
Please note that the photograph shows a selection of the Parallax Rings while this product only includes the two rings of the size you order.
The rings are installed onto your mount or mount dovetail plate via a 1/4"-20 thread mounting hole that is drilled and tapped in the flat boss on the bottom of each ring. A similar hole is drilled and tapped on the top boss so that accessories, such as a piggyback camera mount, can be attached.

Most standard rings are in stock, however, certain mounting set-ups may require some custom drilling and thus shipping may take a little longer. Typical Parallax Quality
I've owned 3 sets for various scopes, and as always, these are one of the best out there. Clamps solidly and firmly without any play or creep when the heavily loaded tube, camera, filterwheel, etc. are vertical (unlike some that I've owned that just never clamps tight enough). Only "complaint" is that mounting bolts aren't provided--but really is a non-issue for most of us.
