    Ocular for lifetime

I got this one for week already ,if you are looking for planetary ocular which you wont be worried that you will use it few times on year because of bad atmosphere condition this is what you are looking for, i used it in worse possible seeing conditions in big city SQM 18,10, and i get sharp image in full 80 ° field on moon and and on Wenus. If you heard that tele vue ethos , delos, delite and nagler, xwe pentax oculars are the best possible that's true but fear not, because Orion lanthanum got a little better visual and colour anomalies correction than Nagler which makes it comparable to best oculars on the world. I personally tested and compared orion with meade 5,5 mm 5000 UWA and i couldn't get full sharp image in meade in same atmospheric condition, got information about comparing it with tele vue from other reviews. +Perfect chromatic aberration correction +No "beans" effect +no false "coffe" colours +nice motif of ocular construction, it looks like barrel, very comfortable grip makes it easy and safe to carry in hand +If you got dobsonian telescope , it shouldn't cause it to turn down due to it's weight, but i tested that on dobson " so i don't know if it's same on smaller models I didn't bought it in this shop, but one in my country, came here looking for more revieves of this wonderful eyepiece, there wasn't any so i leave mine :) 100/100 recommend
