Does the job.
The Collimation Ring works well for adjuscting the tip and tile of my optics train. It would have been beter if it came with some instructions - it was necessary to partially disassemble the unit to figure out how to use it. There are two pieces that are held together with three allan screws spaced 120 deg apart. Between the two halves of the unit are three ball headed, spring loaded supports spaced half way between the adjustment screws, that the camera side half pivots on. There are two allan screws next to each adjusment screw to lock the halves down after the unit has been adjusted. In addition to some form of instructions it would have been nice if the unit came with two allen wrenches (for adjustment screws and a smaller one for the locking screws). I would have been willing to pay the extra dollar or two that the wrenches and instructions would have cost. The assembly and the RC scope are the only items I have bought that haven't come with equired allen wrenches and instructions either with the unit or on their website

RC8 Focuser Collimation Ring
Good experience shipping the item into Canada. I will buy from OPT again in the future

Perfect collimation with RC.
Finally able to get concentric circles with my Howie Glatter through my focuser. Racked in or out. Could not achieve with standard collimation screws/procedure or bobs screws. Allows the sight title of focuser to perfectly align to primary.

TPO Focuser Collimation Ring for RC6 & RC8 Telescopes
I bought two of these.I have an RC6 and will buy an RC8 soon. I highly recommend these RC focuser Collimation Rings.
