Meade Zero Image-Shift Microfocuser
Now you can obtain the most precise image focus possible...truly to a microscopic level...during visual and astrophotographic applications, and, during CCD applications, simultaneously maintain precise image concentration on even the smallest CCD chips. The Meade #1209 Zero Image-Shift Microfocuser operates at 4 different speeds from extremely slow to fast; the entire microfocusing operation is actuated through the Autostar II handbox. Coarse manual focusing is effected through the telescope's manual focus knob.
Questions & AnswersAsk a Question
Is there a way to install a focal reducer with the micro focuser on a 12" LX200GPS?
Yes, you screw the FR to the SCT thread then attach the micro focuser collar to the FR; however I see you have a ACF telescope which requires a specific FR, the ordinary Meade 4000 FR will not work with this telescope.
Does this item work with Meade LX600 SCT ?
Yes, the 1209 can attach to the back of the telescope, the power cable plugs into the electronics base, and the focuser is controlled through the Autostar II hand controller.
