  This stout 6" Newtonian reflector features a precision-made 150mm BK7 glass parabolic primary mirror with an effective focal length of 610mm, making it perfect for deep sky views, both at home, and on the go. Its fast, f/4.1 optics allow for shorter exposures for sharper, less noisy images. Simply add your DSLR or dedicated astrophotography camera to the 2" Crayford focuser with a 10:1 fine focusing knob, and start exploring and sharing our universe.

  The accompanying LX85 GoTo equatorial mount and super-stable tripod will easily slew to, and track any of over 30,000 night sky objects with high accuracy as they drift across the sky. Even with moderate weight imbalances, this mount's permanent periodic error correction (PPEC) will ensure that your subject stays centered throughout the night. Even better, the AudioStar controller will provide a guided audio tour with fascinating and education details.

  While this telescope and mount package was designed with astrophotography in mind, that doesn't mean it won't excel at visual observing as well. The included 26mm Super Plössl eyepiece with 23x magnification will provide outstanding views of deep sky objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy and the Orion Nebula.
