I'm taller now.
Taller, Yep! I bought this for my CEM70 mount but after receiving it I bought another. Now I have one under each foot. Now people look up to me. Smile.

Mini pier - does the job with a little help
The min pier has one weakness: the three puny screws holding the top plate in. These screws will always wiggle loose in a short period of time. The solution is to throw the screws into the trash and use larger ones. I went with 1/4 inch x 20 screw threads. It just took a few minutes to drill and tap fresh holes where the old ones used to be. Voids the "warranty"? I don't care. A static piece like this either works or it doesn't and "as delivered" it wasn't getting the job done. Works like a champ now. Holds everything rigidly and doesn't loosen up with use. If you get one, be sure to do the mod...

Perfect extension for my tripod
Installed easily on my existing tripod. Pier extension will prevent scope and gear from hitting tripod when pointing at zenith.

Excellent pier top
It took a while to get this as it was on back order for a couple of months but it worked out perfectly for what I needed. I built a permanent pier in my back yard and used this as the top allowing my CEM-60 to fit perfectly.

As advertised
Everything was as advertised. I did need to go out and find an online manual but not unusual.
