I use this for my C6-N
I removed the finder scope and its mount on my Newtonian and installed this. It fit the curvature of the 7 inch tube perfectly with a .063 thick neoprene gasket material as I didn't like the metal to metal connection. I use a Rigel quick finder, but in the city with Bortle 6-7 skies I can barely make out where things like Pleaides are, but with this I can see it fine. I've found globular star clusters with this in combination with my Cambridge Star Atlas. It is a great way to find stars at zenith straight up.
Celestron 9x50 Finder, Good, but not Great
OPT did a great job shipping as they always do, my hat is off to them. My only complaint about the finder is the mounting holder; the adjustment system could be better.
9x50 illuminated RA correct image finderscope
Good scope, performed as expected.
This is an excellent right finder.
I bought the right angle finder for two reasons. One I want the finder to see the same thing I see in the scope. The second reason is that I broke my neck and have some fused vertebrae so it's easier for me to look through it! A lovely piece of equipment!
Celestron 9x50 Illuminated RA Correct Image Finderscope
A gift for my brother-in-law for his Celestron 9.25 HD. We are both old and can't bend like we used to. He was very impressed.
RA Illuminated Finderscope
Pros: I had never used an illuminated finderscope before and I am glad I did...it makes central positioning much easier. The optics were as expected....bright and sharp. Cons: The rotating diagonal was a disapointment....although optically sound, the diagonal wobbled as I rotated it into position....poor quality. Also, the illuminated attachment which also rotates does not always hold its position well. I would like to think that my finderscope was a fluke but I keep asking myself....where was quality control?
