The M-ZERO OBS Wi-Fi - An Equatorial Single-arm Fork Portable Mount with WiFi.
The M-zero OBS is the perfect solution for a backyard, personal, customized observatory. Smart and compact design, the M-zero OBS comes with very small overall dimensions at 72 x 64 x 60 cm (28.3 x 25.2 x 23.6-inches), Now it is possible to place the full set-up in a very small observatory or car.
The M-zero OBS comes already provided with the HQ stepper motors, as well as the M-zero HQ, to achieve the best performance possible in tracking.
M-zero's reliability and versatility allows you to attach on the mount many different setups, including a double telescope setup.
No Meridian Flip
The M-zero OBS, as well as the M-zero Standard Version, and the M-UNO, allow for the very helpful No Meridian Flip feature.
Two main configurations: Single telescope setup, and Double telescope setup
Among the many setups possible with the M-zero OBS, there are two main configurations: the single telescope setup and the double telescope setup. The first one is greatly suggested for those who wish to use the mount inside an observatory, the second is suggested as a portable setup.
Single telescope setup (better for a small observatory)
This configurations is suitable for a small customized observatory, the StarGo board can be assembled on the bottom side of the DEC arm, like this, it can be also considered as an "extra counterweight". Set this way, with small refractor, the mount can also be balanced without any counterweight. The telescope can track all night long, without the need of the Meridian Flip, and without any risk of a collision.
Double telescope setup (optimized for portable/stable backyard configuration)
The double telescope configuration has been optimized for the portable setup or a stable backyard configuration.
In the Double set-up, it will be possible to fully use the second telescope. Thanks to the high-quality materials (anodized aluminium and stainless steel), the mount can be left outside for long periods of time, and by also using a simple cover to prevent rain, humidity, and weather damage.
Thanks to the PARK/UNPARK StarGo GoTo System feature. it will be possible for you to have several imaging sessions.
With this Double configuration the StarGo board can be assembled directly onto the pier, and any second telescope collision risk will be prevented.
Optional Motorized Polar Alignment
The optional Motorized Polar Alignment allow a full remote control, once the setup has been done, it will be possible to perform an accurate remote Polar Alignment. This is an Option and has an additional cost. If you choose the optional Motorized Polar Alignment, you must note within the cart notes what latitude you plan to use this mount.
