Astronomik H-Alpha 6nm EOS Full Frame Telescope Filter

The XL EOS Clip 6 nm H-alpha Filter by Astronomik:

The Astronomik 6 nm H-alpha filter is an extremely narrow emission-line filter for CCD photography. The filter lets the H-alpha light of emission nebulae pass and blocks nearly the whole remainder of the spectrum where the CCD is sensitive.

    Questions & Answers

    Ask a Question
    • Will the H-a filter that I buy for my 6D also fit in my 600D or do I need to buy H-a filters for each camera ?

Unfortunately, no. The 1D/5D/6D full frame cameras all share the full frame version, and all of the 6D, XXD, XXXD and XXXXD cameras share the APS-C versions of the filters, but you cannot mix a full frame filter with an APS-C camera.
