• Adapter to attach Losmandy HD Tripod or Tripod with Losmandy MA Top to Astro-Physics 400, 600, 1100, 900 and Mach1 Mounts. Includes screw packet.

  This adapter allows owners of all 400, 600E, 900, 1100 and Mach1GTO mounts (cannot be used with the 800) to use the following tripods:

  • Losmandy HD series tripods (#AP-HD Tripod)

  • Folding HD Tripod with MA Top (#AP-FHD-MA)

  • MA Top (Losmandy part #MA) that is attached to a Meade Field Tripod.

  As shown in the picture below, the adapter fits into the top of the Losmandy HD Tripod (or MA Top) and is secured with either the Losmandy Know Set (AP-LTKS, available separately) or with the 3/8-16x3/4" socket head cap screws provided.

  

  The top of the AP-LT2APM is drilled and tapped to receive either the Tripod Adapter (AP-ADATRI), the 900-1100 Flat Surface Adapter (AP-119FSA), or the 900 Standard Pier Adapter (AP-900SPA). Please note that one of these three adapters will be required in addition to the AP-LT2APM.
