Atik Universal AC Power Supply

The Atik Horizon rapidly drains a 12 volt battery within a few hours. With the Atik Unviersal AC Power Supply I can image all night long! I highly recommend this product for all Atik Imaging Cameras.

Good power supply

I bought this to use in my observatory when I found my main 12v transformer sending power to the pier was actually outputting 13.45v. This was only .4v under what the maximum allowable voltage for the Atik One. I decided to play it safe and order a dedicated power supply just for the camera. Testing showed it pretty much right on 12v, maybe 12.1v. I don't consider it a high end unit, that's why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, but it's certainly capable. I tested it inside the house, moving filter wheels and taking about 12 hours of dark and bias exposures. No problems, I plan to put it in the observatory tomorrow.
