Product Details
See the stars in high-contrast with one of the most sensitive ZWO cameras on the market. Engineered with a peak Q.E. of 84%, capture stunning details of planetary and deep space objects.
Planetary and Solar Imaging
Save time with the ASI183 Monochrome! It can record full 20.2 MP videos at 19 frames per second and capture the entire sun with its 1350 mm focal length. If you enjoy speed shooting planets like Jupiter and Saturn, the ASI183 clocks out at 308.17 frames per second at 320 x 240 resolution!
REFINED MECHANICS
Sony IMX183CLK-J CMOS Sensor
Offering a higher resolution, high Q.E. and just as efficient signal-to-noise ratios as its older brother the ASI 1600, the sensor can record 20.2-megapixel video at 19 frames per second, which is 48% more resolution than an ultra, high-definition 4k video!
The Sony CMOS sensor offers 12 stops of dynamic range, giving you fuller images! When the gain settings are at 0, the read noise reaches 3e and when the gain settings are at 30, it offers a low read noise of 1.6e.
USB 3.0 & ST4 Ports
Connect and guide at faster and smoother rates! The ASI 183 camera uses a USB 3.0 interface that provides a 5 GB bandwidth. This non-cooled version of the camera also comes with an ST4 guide port so the camera can directly connect to your mount for autoguiding.
POWERFUL PERFORMANCE
High Quantum Efficiency
Capture high-contrast images with the ZWO ASI183 camera's incredible light-gathering ability. The ZWO ASI183 has a peak Q.E. of 84%! Also, the H-alpha emission line is recorded at 60% and doesn't record less than 50% in the visible spectrum.
High-Speed Video Recording
