The Focus Control Hub
The FocusLynx Focuser Hub offers an easy way to simultaneously and independently control up to two Optec or Starlight focusers through a computer, smartphone, or hand control. Each focuser may be plugged into the hub using standard serial cables. The FocusLynx can then be connected to a computer via serial cable, ethernet, or wireless network. Once connected, are ready to go! You can simply open up any focuser control program or Optec's proprietary FocusLynx Commander control software and you will be able to control each focuser the way you would without the hub. This kit also includes a FocusLynx Hand Controller that can be plugged into the FocusLynx to allow telescope-side control of each focuser.

FocusLynx WiFi Upgrade
This kit includes the Optec FocusLynx WiFi option, eliminating the need for communication wires to the control PC or Tablet. Taking advantage of the 802.11 networking standard, the FocusLynx WiFi option allows true wireless connectivity. Only power need be applied to the FocusLynx hub with this option. With the WiFi module in place, an AdHoc network is created that allows easy communication and integration with any existing 802.11 wireless network, allowing control of the FocusLynx to be accomplished by Optec's iPhone or Android OS apps using the built-in wireless web pages allowing the user to focus through most any smartphone.

Not only is installation simple, but full compatibility with a FocusLynx Control Hub ensures that this is an ideal choice for motorizing a Feathertouch Focuser. There is also a QuickSync FSQ20 FocusLynx Motor with built-in clutch mechanisms and temperature sensors, allowing both manual and motorized control with a simple twist of the motor housing. FocusLynx Second Stepper Control Board
