A great compact, light-weight, and very affordable gadget to avoid star trailing when taking wide-field, longer exposure pictures. Straightforward to set up out of the box (see the attached no-track/track pictures for a first quick 60s exposure experiment on a cloudy night when the box arrived). Highly recommended. The only tiny minor point is that the polar "finder" tube is not easy on the eye, so I will replace that with an actual finder scope.

I was concerned about the simple polar scope, but it was surprisingly easy to use. My only complaint is the frighteningly loud noise when the timer has reached the end.
