• iOptron's NUC Computer Ready Mounts

  The NUC (Next Unit of Computing) series of mounts from iOptron pair perfectly with Intel NUC mini computers (thickness <38 mm). NUC mounts feature a well-positioned bracket at the lower front area of the saddle, securely holding the mini computer in place. There are also some provisions for mount control connections (LAN and USB) and power 19V (optional 12V) conveniently placed next to the NUC computer.

  Following up on the success of the iOptron CEM60 center balanced equatorial mount, iOptron is excited to bring you improved medium payload center balanced mounts. The CEM70 is a standard-bearer for equatorial mounts in the 70-pound payload segment. It is packed with advanced features, including the iPolar electronic polar scope!

  The center balanced design
  

  Retaining the inherent properties of the center balance design, these relatively compact medium payload mounts deliver what astronomers expect in an efficient accurate portable mount. With precise GOTO pointing and accurate tracking (PE <±3.5 arcsec) the CEM70 is a solid performer for observers and imagers alike.

  iPolar electronic polar scope

  Innovative operational features such as the internal iPolar electronic polar scope, easy lock drive gear engagement (levers large enough to use with gloves), an advanced cable management system for the mount, iPolar, guider, and camera, and cumulatively assure users the CEM70 designed with their needs in mind. 

  With the CEM70-NUC model, you will receive a CEM70 mount that is compatible with the NUC mini computer, along with a 21 lb counterweight, counterweight shaft, iPolar electronic polar scope, and a Go2Nova 8407+ hand controller with cord and hard case!
