Celestron 15x70 Binoculars
These are really excellent binoculars at a very reasonable price. I use them for astronomy. Using a mount is highly recommended because they are heavy. I use an Orion 5376 Paragon-Plus Mount.
Best binoculars I've used.
I bought these to replace a $200 10x50 binocular that took a bad fall. These far outperform the $200 dollar pair in every respect, especially value! Light gathering and resolution are excellent. At a dark sky site, scanning the Milky Way is mesmerizing; the Andromeda galaxy fits beautifully in the field of view and shows a hint of it's dust bands. The objectives are helped enormously by the nice large eye lenses, wide apparent field of view and very comfortable eye relief. If held near the objectives the view is nice and steady, they are light enough for many minutes of comfortable hand held viewing. Their compact nature and light weight make them better than any 80mm to 100mm "rich field" scope I've used. For the price and performance, I do not see myself getting any other binocular for quite some time.
More than decent.
These binoculars are well worth the money. Really great for Moon viewing. Of course, they are to be used with a tripod. Nice carrying and storage bag helps keep them clean.
Great Binocs for the price
Excellent binoculars for the price. Should be used with a tripod. Collimation adjustment was easy and took under 2 minutes. Focuser works smoothly. The tripod adapter needs to be stiffened in torsion. I've filled the I beam channels on both sides with epoxy and it helps quite a bit.
Worth the price
Excellent binos i have ever seen in my life... It gives a good view of all the messier catalog objects... Its a good one for intermediate and beginners..
