Heartbleed is a bug or virus that would allow a hacker to exploit a flaw in commonly used security software (OpenSSL).  This encryption software is responsible for safeguarding things like passwords, credit card numbers, and personal information.   We have searched out a good list of popularly used sites that have been affected for your use.
