Your telescope’s lens captures true-to-color light and create images with reduced chromatic aberration. It’s designed with FPL-53 glass, which is a form of synthetic fluorite in the closest form to pure fluorite. Capture mesmerizing images with brighter and crisper viewing features.

When combined with a field flattener, this telescope can capture images like those of larger professional telescopes.

William Optics ZenithStar 61

This is my second telescope. I bought this for learning astrophotography of deep sky objects. It is a great little scope. Easy to use, sturdy and forgiving. With the wider FOV, tracking is easier and more reliable and with the an f/5.9, imaging takes less time. Overall a great scope and well worth the money IMHO!

Great little scope

Shipping was fast and packing was very good as always from OPT. The scope is well made with a solid feel. I used it several times and am very satisfied with the views both visual and with a camera Hope to be using very often

Fits my needs perfectly

I've only used it a couple of times now, but so far it fits my need perfectly. It is a great compromise between portability and image capability. Build quality appears to be excellent and I love the little extras added (thermometer on the focuser). My only downside is that I really like the space gray color but the other WO accessories don't come in that color or in another monochromatic color (black or white).

Fantastic for astrophotography, and a compact package for visuals

High build quality and incredible for astro-imaging, or even using for visuals...all in a compact package. If imaging, get the field flattener (which also includes a 2 in filter holder). For visuals, you'll need a diagonal and you can get the M54 Rotolock adapter, or just keep as-is. Overall, a great compact setup!
