I update mine 120mm camera with the 290mm. Very happy I did! Guiding improved!
Great little camera but I'm having a heck of a time trying to get it to connect with my Paramount 11000-s. So far no one has been able to help me. No first light until this happens! (help..)
I'm using this as a guide camera and it works perfectly. It's threaded to accept filters if desired. Does the job, no complaints. I downloaded the drivers from the website, which was very easy, hooked the camera up and was running in minutes.

Excellent. Easy to get set up and works fine. Much easier to adjust focus on my zwo off axis guider (oag) than my previous guide camera an asi224. My first night tested I got consistent accurate guiding with rms error in range of .4 to .6 most of night even with average to poor seeing conditions. Tight sharp stars with 5 minute long exposures on a 1000mm focal length scope. Much better than what i had before.
This camera pairs very nicely with the ZWO OAG and helical focuser. The sensitivity is great and I get dozens of stars with very moderate gain despite the tiny 8mmx8mm prism on the OAG. Along w the helical focuser, it is very easy to get this camera focused and locked into place. I really like that this camera is a "mini" version, and that the sensor is built into the "male end" of the nosepiece. With a non-mini camera, you can add a nosepiece but the sensor remains at the "female end" of the hollow nosepiece tube, creating a distance the length of the nosepiece that you can never shorten. With this mini camera that has the sensor at the male end, I am able to get the sensor right up to the OAG stem by set screw and helical focuser. While this may seem trivial, that distance saved me the trouble of moving my entire OAG up the optical train. I highly recommend this camera for guiding.
