  • 5 positions for round 2-inch thread-in or 50.4 +/-0.5 mm unmounted filters.
  • Thin and lightweight for maximum adaptability.
  • Paired well with the ASI6200 camera.

This 5-position electronic filter wheel--CNC-milled from aircraft-graded aluminum block--can fit round 2-inch thread-in or 50.4 mm +/-0.5 mm unmounted filters. A perfect pairing with the ASI6200 camera.

The wheel can be rotated counter-clockwise or clockwise for filter selection. And just one USB power cable with a maximum power supply of 120mAh @ 5V is needed, which can be operated from the cooled CCD’s USB2.0 port.

When used with the ASI6200, filter-to-sensor distance is approximately 18 mm. ZWO's 2-inch LRGB filters work well with the camera, offering nearly 1:1:1 RGB color balance.

Filter Wheel Performance ok - Adapters Needed

I have a ZWO 5 position 1.25 which has performed well. I use SGP and the ASCOM driver works well, also, there is enough room for my thicker than average 2" filter, happy to report that it can acommodate the Radian 2" Quad Narrowband. Notwithstanding, it comes with a M54 to M48 female adapter/converter that just wont work as there is no way to stop the thread going in all the way... and you gave to play so it wont hit the top of the filters. So inconveniently you must buy an M54 make (low profile so the male threads wont hit the filters remember) to M48 (male or female depending the rest of your optical train mechanics) No biggy, found them at Amazon for about $15 each... every other ZWO artifact I've bought, Electronic Auto Focuser, two ASI1600 color & mono, and 5 position 1.25 EFW had EVERYTHING... a bit inconvienient... so a one star deduction... but once I had all the parts I've already used it a few times and it works well, smooth, reliably, with ample room for my "thicker" 2" filters. clear skies

    Smooth and quiet

I purchased this to mainly use with my asiair pro which has native support for controlling the filter wheel with my phone or tablet. The rotation is smooth and quiet and the use of optical sensors allows precise positioning. A number of adapters are included to allow use of standard OAG equipment and various cameras. It’s mainly designed for full frame cameras but I have a number of 2” filters I use with dslrs and can now use them with my cropped sensor ASI cameras.
