Spotter Bracket
Works perfectly.

Mount for a "Found" Finder
When I bought my 1990s era Celestron-8 last year, I set about upgrading it. First, I replaced the fork-type mount with the Celestron AV-X mount. Then, with the help of some folks from the Cape Fear Astronomical Society, I learned that one of the attachments on the tube was the mounting hardware for a Telrad red-dot finder, so I bought that device from OPT. It included the mounting hardware, which was fortunate, because the old mount was not in a good place on the tube. Then, there was what appeared to be a much better finder in the package of attachments that came with the scope, but no hardware to mount the device. I bought this bracket from OPT, and found, to my great relief, that I could put the female dovetail on the scope without any additional drilling and the new and improved finder was easy to mount then.
