Very versatile item.

Bought this to replace a different, but good, "L" bracket on a ***** Porta II. This was out of stock when I ordered the mount. This is the best "L" bracket I've ever personally used. The arm and plate come as separate pieces so one has a choice of where to mount the arm to the plate: forward, center, rear and even in and forward on one short side, and in the middle of one long side.. The two 1/4-20 standard are not attached and can be placed in a number of holes and three different slots. They also come with removable locking rings which simply screw onto the locking screws. For the slots, the locking screws will screw into the end of the slot to the unthreaded area of the screw when they will freely slide the length of the slots. The plate also has holes for 3/16" and 1/4 camera/tripod screws. It is large enough to hold good sized scopes. I have a C-6 on it using both locking screws in the outer long slot to attached the dovetail bar to the plate. The ability to use two screws to hold it provides added security.
