Takahashi Teegul Sky Patrol III Equatorial Mount - DISCONTINUED
The new Takahashi Teegul Sky-Patrol III equatorial mount is a creative and lightweight alternative for those who wish to travel with a small telescope. Its modular design, including a a rigid one-arm fork mount motorized in right ascension axis, is ideal for small refractors and works well with all light telescope assemblies.
User friendly means the Teegul Sky-Patrol III Equatorial Mount is ready to mount on your existing photo tripod without adding additional accessories. What's more, the low clearance means you can add a DSLR or SLR camera without balance problems.
The motor drive has been redesigned. The new Takahashi Teegul three has an all new handbox that's more functional. Now you can control the integrated motor in RA and also keep track of other mount basic functions such as slewing speeds in both hemispheres. Your power supply is located inside the handbox and is provided by 6V batteries (not included). Simply adjust the tripod for polar alignment or add an optional wedge.
Want more from your Teegul III? Then turn it into a genuine German equatorial mount at any time by adding an optional counterweight shaft kit. The kit itself will add even more clearance both axis, RA and DEC, allowing the assembly of longer telescope optical tube assemblies.
