Perfect simple scope
Imaging with the raptor 61 has been great. I also have an Edge HD 8 with hyperstar 4 that has a similar focal length, but the raptor is so much easier to deal with. Even with less resolution and a slower f/ ratio, I find myself using the raptor much more than the f/1.9 hyperstar. Especially since you gain the ability to image with a mono camera, filter wheel, and narrowband filters with the raptor. All of the attached images were taken with the raptor, an asi1600mm pro, and narrowband filters. I'm horrible with photoshop and still managed to get decent pics with it using relatively short itergration time and no darks, flats, or bias frames. The rings are good for mounting accessories. The rotator is great for framing your object. Set up was easy. No need for spacers to get correct backfocus with my camera and filterwheel. My only complaint was that when I got it a year ago, it had been dropped before being shipped to me. There were scuff marks/scratches on the tube and the dew shield had been knocked off the scope. As irritating as that was, the functionality doesn't seem to have been harmed. Returning it for a replacement was not an option due to none being in stock and half a year or more wait times. If you can get one shipped to you that hasn't been damaged, it's a great little scope.

Radian Raptor 61
Looks great. Haven’t used it yet. Once I get all the equipment and accessories I need I feel like I should be able to give it a great review.

A Better Lens Cap!
William Optics 70 series Bahtinov Focusing Mask, with the aid of some felt makes a better lens cap that will stay on and is great for focusing on the stars!

Great Starter Astrophotography Telescope
I love the quailty of this telescope. Also it's great for a highly portable setup as I plan to visit some dark sky sites. Easy to set up with all of the connectors/spacers. I've paired it with a ZWO filter drawer and an L Enhance filter. I do wish it included a Saddle Bar for a guidescope.

Primera luz del RADIAN. Simplemente impresionante
Doctormemo
