All New Slot & Bolt Pattern
The Radian Telescopes 6.5-Inch Lightweight Universal D-Style Dovetail Bar was completely redesigned to fit with any tube ring system. Unlike other brands, this dovetail bar uses mirrored angle slots to accommodate the width of the bolt pattern found on the most common tube rings. For the extra wide bolt patterns found on Astrophysics, TEC and Parallax rings, this dovetail bar has eight tapped 1/4-20 holes, and eight non-threaded counter-bored holes to bolt your hardware to the plate.
Thicker Shoulders for Less Flexure
The Radian Telescopes 6.5-Inch Lightweight Universal D-Style Dovetail Bar is thicker than most mass-produced dovetail bars. It is machined from solid aluminum stock to have a 14.4 mm shoulder which will prevent any mechanical flexure. This extra thickness performs so well it can hold larger SCTs in set of tube rings.
