    TPO Vixen Style Shoe for Red Dot Finders & Finder Brackets

    This Vixen-style dovetail shoe will accept a wide variety of small red dot finders (TPO, Stellarvue, Celestron) as well as finderscope stalks and brackets.

    Black-anodized, with a large knurled thumbscrew. Mounting screws not included (they should be on your OTA).

    • What's the center to center screw hole spacing minimum and maximum distance on this? Looking to use it on my 8" SCT.

      The center to center hole spacing for this item is 29mm so it will work on your 8" SCT & in fact, most others.

    • Will this base work on a Celestron 9.25 SCT?

      Yes the TPO vixen finder shoe will work with the Celestron 9.25

    • Will a Zhumell stalk fit on this dovetail mount ?

      Possibly, but only if Zhumell uses the standard Synta/Vixen/GSO style foot on the stalk with a max width of 32mm at the base and 25mm at the top of the base.

    • Will a Zhumell stalk fit on this dovetail mount ?

      AC, We don't have a Zhumell stalk in stock but the TPO vixen dovetail has the small vixen shoe that is 1.5" wide at the bottom. Thanks.

    • Can this be used to replace the shoe on the Explore Scientific 102mm Apochromatic Refractor?

      Probably not without some modification. Explore Scientific uses a different hole pattern than TPO for its finder bases, so you may need to drill an additional hole in the tube and fill the hole(s) you do not need to keep dust out of the tube if the holes

    • will this work on Meade LX 90

      Unfortunately, no. The hole pattern on this finder base will not work with a Meade or Celestron SCT/ACF/Edge HD as the slots on the base are not far enough apart. You will want to use an OR-7215 instead:
