Celestron’s CPC Deluxe925 Edge HD Telescope offers both portability and versatility without hindering its large aperture. This telescope’s GoTo capabilities coupled with StarBright XLT High-Performance Optical Coatings provide superior quality, unsurpassed ease of use, and incomparable value!
The Celestron CPC Deluxe 925 telescope uses an internal GPS receiver that automatically downloads the date and time from orbiting satellites and pinpoints its exact location on Earth. This eliminates the need for you to manually enter the date, time, longitude, and latitude. Once you simply center and align three bright objects in your eyepiece; such as the moon, planets or stars, the telescope can automatically locate, point to, and track any of the 40,000 celestial objects in its database that is up in the night sky!
Edge HD optics not only creates rounder/ more pleasing stars but improves the resolution and limiting magnitude when compared to telescopes of equal aperture. When it comes to the Celestron EdgeHD series coupled with Celestron's StarBright XLT coating group on every surface, EdgeHD optics gives you maximum light across the widest visual and photographic spectrum... It's a vision you'll never forget!
With its conveniently located carrying handles and an instrument weight of only 42-pounds, this Telescope gives you the freedom to observe from several different locations!
Mirror Support Knobs- flexible Tension Clutches hold the mirror in place and reduce image shift when rotating the tube around the mount.
Tube Vents- cooling vents located on the rear cell allow hot air to be released from behind the primary mirror. The vents are outfitted with an integrated 95-micron mesh filter.
Fastar Versatility- all EdgeHD optical tubes are FaStar compatible for imaging down to f/2 with optional accessories.
Brighter Star Images- light becomes more concentrated when focused precisely. This maximizes image brightness.
CGE Mount Plate- ready for attaching to your mount and tripod of choice
GoTo Technology- fully automated mount with a database of 40,000+ celestial objects will automatically locate and track objects for you.
Re-designed Drive Base and Drive Mechanics- using larger drive gears for better tracking accuracy.
Heavy-Duty Tripod-easy telescope attachment and features sturdy 2-inch steel legs and accessory tray.
Ergonomic Design- sturdy handles coupled with large levers and knobs ensure comfortable lifting and moving of the telescope from location to location.
Internal GPS Receiver- automatically downloads the date and time from orbiting satellites and pinpoints the telescope’s exact location.
