This Standard Field Tripod has research-grade standards that provide a solid foundation for the demanding processes of high power observing and all levels of astrophotography.

  Weighing 25 pounds, this tripod stands at a comfortable viewing height with an adjustable range of about 20", (from 34" to 54") making it optimal for both seated and standing positions. It comes equipped with strong, rigid vibration damping chrome legs. You can mount your telescope in altitude-azimuth (vertical-horizontal) style, as well as equatorially (polar), onto this tripod by using a wedge.
