    Meade LX70 R6 - 6" Reflector on German Equatorial Mount

    The Meade LX70 series telescopes boast a powerful combination of portability and versatility. The R6 model is a 6" Newtonian reflector mounted on the manual EQ LX70 mount. At just f/5 this is an ideal choice for the wide-field astrophographer. Resolves down to 0.76 arc seconds and includes a 6x30 optical finder with crosshair reticle, and 9mm and 25mm 1.25" Plossl eyepieces.

    The LX70 manual equatorial mount features two large and easy to handle slow-motion knobs, brass-worm gears for smooth reliable motion, aluminum settng circles and a built in bubble level to aid in set up. Simple to use push pull adjusters help make polar alignment quick and simple. Includes a Vixen style saddle and dovetail, craddle rings, a sturdy 1.75" steel tripod and full size accessory tray ready to hold your 1.25" and 2" eyepieces.
