The Meade LX70 6" 270023 Maksutov-Cassegrain OTA features an advanced Maksutov-Cassegrain design for pinpoint star images and extraordinary contrast, making it a great deep sky performer and ideal for detailed lunar and planetary observation as it easily soars to high magnifications. This Mak telescope has an aperture of 6" and a focal length of 1800 mm, making it a great portable instrument for either visual observing or astrophotography.

The 6" aperture of the Meade LX70 Mak-Cass OTA allows it to resolve details down to 0.76 arcsecond across and can be viewed using the two included 1.25" Plossl eyepieces (9 mm & 26 mm). With its internal focusing mechanism and its 2" 90° diagonal eyepiece attachment, it is equipped to handle wide-field 2" eyepieces out of the box. The 8x50 optical finder scope with cross hair reticle makes locating faint objects quick and easy.

This LX70 6" 270023 Maksutov-Cassegrain OTA by Meade is an Optical Tube Assembly only, and does not include a mount or tripod. You can mount this scope on any equipment you already have or purchase a mount and tripod separately.
