The Meade LPI-G color camera is one of those devices where you are left wondering what would $50 more capability have looked like. For the money it is a decent device and does produce acceptable images. Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the moon and terrestrial objects are prime targets for this category of device, assuming you have the right grade of glass in front of it. The software provided is also acceptable and I especially like the canned profiles for the various planets. They need to be tweaked but are decent starting points. This device costs roughly $200 and it definitely is not punching above its weight class. If you can afford higher quality then by all means go for it. If $200 is what you have to spend, this one will do the job.
