Meade Green Laser Pointer - 5mW
Meade Green Laser Pointer - 5mWThe Green Laser Pointer - 5 mW by Meade:
When observing the night sky with friends it's easy to get lost in a myriad of stars. Using Meade's new Green Laser Pointer, it's easy to point out objects for all to see. The Meade 5 mW laser pointer shines a tight green beam of light that pinpoints the stars overhead. Trace the constellations, point out bright stars, and spot planets with ease.
This is a great teaching tool for astronomy outreach and education. Talk about the stars with confidence, knowing that everyone is looking at the same stars and constellations you are. It's simple and easy and fun to use. Enjoy the night with a magic green light! The Meade Green Laser Pointer is safe and made to U.S. FDA laser standards.
The Meade Laser pointer sports a soft rubber grip that fits comfortably in your hand. It includes an elegant metal carrying case, two AAA batteries, and instructions for use.
WARNING!! Laser Pointers are not toys, even if they are fun to use! Children should not use a laser pointer. Do not look directly into the beam of any laser pointer, and do not reflect it into a mirror and look directly at the image! Doing so may cause serious eye damage. Also, of course, never point a laser at another human being or animal.

Great for viewing!
Very nice and fun - wanted one for long time!
Meade green laser terrible. OPT staff/service great.
I bought two Meade green lasers. One did not work. Returned it to OPT. They sent a different one. It did not work, either. Returned it. OPT kind of acknowledged Meade lasers were not that great. They suggested I buy a better one. They refunded my money. I will be a better one from OPT. OPT staff/service were great. Very disappointed in Meade. How tough can it be to make a decent device as simple as a laser pointer? Meade's QA/QC must be non-existent on those. I was teaching an astronomy class at the time. All my students saw that the Meade stuff didn't work.
V. Handy Pointer and Pulser

A great tool to share with my family of what we are seeing through the eyepiece ......gives us all a sense of perspective!
