    • The description says that this can be used for white light observation. Does that mean solar viewing, and if so, what other items do you need, as I can't find an 80mm Etalon

This scope can be used for white light observing. White light viewing does not require an etalon, just a standard film or glass white light solar filter.

    • Can this tripod used to replace the tripod for a astromaster 130eq?

Unfortunately, no. The tripods for the two mounts are different.

    • Would an 8 inches Vixen dovetail work for this scope or would it be too long?

An 8" long dovetail would be a good match for this scope as long as you have mounting rings to attach it.

    • I want to use this OTA on a iOptron Cube Pro mounted on a Vixen Porta mount tripod. Will this OTA be a good match for that mount and do you sell the Vixen dovetail plate I would need to mount it?

Yes, this scope would be a good match for that mount. We carry V series dovetail plates by Lunt, Orion, Celestron, Vixen, ADM, and Losmandy, so I'm sure you can find a plate to work for you. Please let us know if you have any questions.
