Don't have the greatest seeing conditions in your backyard? Family prone to complaining about chilly nights and bug bites? Or maybe there is a kid in your life (or heart) that would be thrilled with a night sky in their own room. iOptron brings you the perfect solution... the LiveStar Mini Planetarium!

Bring the stars indoors! The easy to use design allows you to set to your actual location and time with clearly marked dials. You can also check out what the sky would be like in other parts of the world by simply changing the latitude settings. A remote control lets everyone kick back and enjoy the show and it makes the most awesome night light! The compact LiveStar includes the major constellations, even the all-time favorite- the Milky Way - and will slowly rotate to mimic the natural rotation of the stars at night.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Hello. Will it work for southern latitudes? Would it work better under a hemispherical roof? Thank you.

Good afternoon and thanks for asking, by changing the date, time, and latitude the planetarium will work in the Southern Hemisphere. The presentation would naturally look better on a hemispherical ceiling.

  • How accurate is this and will it display the northern hemisphere? What instructions or materials come with this to help learn?

Chris, The planetarium does come with a quick start guide and does display the Northern Hemisphere.
