Explore Scientific Carbon Fiber ED115 f/5.5 APO Triplet is an all-new design which offers outstanding quality optics provided by glass manufacturer Ohara. Ohara FPL-53 glass is used to make the optical elements in this telescope which allows it to achieve unprecedented advanced chromatic aberration correction. 

This scope includes a 3" Hexagonal focuser which keeps very rigid and supported minimal mechanical play. This focuser can hold up to 10 lbs. If you are needing a hold a heavier load, you can purchase this telescope with a Starlight Instuments Feathertouch True 3" Rack and Pinion focuser. The 3" Feathertouch focuser has a lift cacpacity of 15 pounds
